Quick Guide!!!

Why won’t my waffles be crisp?

No matter how long you cook them, soggy waffles will result from a waffle iron that doesn’t sear the batter and evaporate moisture. To get a crispy waffle shell, it must hit a boiling-hot metal surface.

Can waffles be prepared the night before?

Make the batter the evening before. Cook the waffles up to one hour in advance and let them rest at room temperature on baking sheets. Reheat at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, flipping once.
