- 1 cup Aunt Jemima pancake mix
- Only about half a cup of milk
- 1 egg to get structure and richness
- 2 tbsp. of oil
Prepare a waffle iron by greasing and heating it.
Blend the Aunt Jemima mix, milk, egg, and oil together in a large bowl until there are no more lumps. Resting the batter for four to five minutes before baking is recommended.
After the batter has been added to the waffle maker, the lid should be placed back on the machine. Waffles should be cooked until there is no longer any steam coming out of them. Raise the lid, and remove the waffle by sliding it out.
Step 3 must be repeated until all of the batters have been cooked.
