Ingredients

  • 2 cups bone broth (chicken or beef)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (adjust according to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, cinnamon, or shaved chocolate

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, combine the bone broth, cocoa powder, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  • Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk the mixture until it starts to simmer. Continue whisking for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and the hot chocolate is heated through.
