Ingredients
1 pound elbow macaroni
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
4 cups Cabot Sharp Cheddar, shredded
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
Cook Macaroni
Boil the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare Cheese Sauce
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Whisk in flour, salt, pepper, and mustard powder until well combined.
Gradually add milk and heavy cream, continuing to whisk until the mixture thickens.
Add Cabot Cheese
Stir in the Cabot Sharp Cheddar cheese until it's fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
Combine and Bake
Mix the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
Bake to Perfection
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 25-30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
