- 1 3/4 lb. of ground meat
- 1 chopped onion 1 thinly sliced celery stem 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried Oregano
- A pinch of dried basil and powdered cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper, ground
- 1/2 cup crushed crumbs
- A quarter of a cup of shredded Parmesan
- Two big yolks
- 1/2 mug milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup tomato paste
Put the oven on to preheat to 350 degrees F.
In a large dish, mix together the ground beef with the onion, celery, spices, bread crumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
In a separate dish, combine the milk and eggs and beat them together.
Mix the ground beef with the onion and garlic, then add it to the liquid along with the oil and tomato sauce.
Utilize your palms to combine everything thoroughly.
After shaping the beef into a loaf, place it in a large loaf pan and bake it for one hour. At a minimum of 15 minutes, it should be allowed to relax.
Once it has been drained, the bread should be sliced and served with gravy or tomato sauce on top.
