Ingredients

  • 1 package of mint-flavored Oreo cookies
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • Green candy melts
  • Red heart-shaped sprinkles
  • Edible candy eyes

Instructions

Prepare the Oreo Mixture

  • In a food processor, crush the mint-flavored Oreo cookies until they become fine crumbs.
  • Transfer the crushed Oreos to a mixing bowl and add the softened cream cheese.
  • Mix until well combined and forms a dough-like consistency.

Shape the Truffles

  • Using your hands, roll the Oreo mixture into small truffle-sized balls and place them on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Place the truffles in the refrigerator and let them chill for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Melt the Candy Coating

  • In a melting pot or microwave-safe bowl, melt the green candy melts according to the package instructions.

Coat the Truffles

  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted green candy coating, ensuring they are fully coated. Use a fork to lift them out, letting excess coating drip off.

Decorate the Grinch Faces

  • While the candy coating is still wet, place two edible candy eyes on each truffle.
  • Attach a red heart-shaped sprinkle just below the eyes to create the Grinch's heart.

Chill and Set

  • Place the decorated truffles back on the parchment paper-lined baking sheet and refrigerate until the candy coating is set.

Serve and Enjoy

  • Once the Grinch Oreo truffles are fully set, remove them from the refrigerator. Use a small heart-shaped cookie cutter to create a more defined heart shape around the red sprinkle.
