Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the grated cassava, coconut milk, brown sugar, melted butter, raisins, shredded coconut, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until they are evenly combined.
Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray, then pour the cassava mixture into the dish, spreading it out evenly.
Put the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for around 1 hour or until the top turns a golden brown color and the center is set.
Once cooked, remove the Cassava Pone from the oven and let it cool before cutting it into squares or rectangles.
You can serve the Cassava Pone either warm or at room temperature. It can be enjoyed on its own as a dessert or accompanied by tea or coffee.
