- Four cups of quick-rise flour
- Sugar, one tablespoon
- A Tablespoon of Baking Powder
- Crisco shortening, 3/4 cup
- The equivalent of 2 cups buttermilk and 1/4 cup butter
Preheat oven to 400°F.
4 cups of self-rising flour, 1 tablespoon each of sugar, and baking powder are combined.
Use 2 knives to cut Crisco into flour.
Cut Crisco into the flour until it forms large crumbs.
Add 2 cups Buttermilk gently, mixing until dough forms.
Form dough into balls using floured hands (about golf ball-sized).
Grease a pan and add Hardee's biscuit balls.
Golden brown after 20 minutes of baking
