Electric mixer
9x13 inch baking dish
Plastic wrap
- 1 box (12 ounces) vanilla wafers
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 box (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Add and combine the whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, and instant vanilla pudding mix, in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until the mixture thickens and sets, about 2 minutes.
In a separate mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
With a gentle touch, incorporate the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
Line a layer of vanilla wafers to the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Top the wafers with a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of the pudding mixture. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
Cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld together and the wafers to soften.
Before serving, garnish the top of the pudding with a few crushed vanilla wafers for added texture and presentation.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
