In another bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, and mix until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
After that, incorporate the vanilla extract and eggs into the butter mixture, adding them one at a time. Make sure to beat well after each addition.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes.
Move the cookies onto a wire cooling rack and allow them to cool down entirely.
