- 16 oz. large mushrooms
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup Longhorn cheese, shredded
- 4 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Remove the mushrooms' stems and discard them.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Longhorn cheese, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the cheese mixture into the mushroom caps, filling each one until it is slightly mounded.
Onto a baking sheet place mushrooms and bake for 20-25 minutes, or you should wait until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms become tender.
Garnished with additional green onions if desired and serve immediately.
