Ingredients

  • 1 pound of flank steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons of chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons of cumin
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortillas, for serving

Instructions

  • Mix chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced steak to the skillet and sprinkle with half of the spice mixture. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until browned.
  • Add the sliced peppers and onions to the skillet, and sprinkle with the remaining spice mixture. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes or until the vegetables are tender and the steak is cooked through.
  • Serve the fajita mixture on tortillas and top with your desired toppings.
