- Cream Cheese, Philadelphia, 4 ounces
- 12 oz. Cheese Tillamook White Cheddar Shredded
- Flour, 3 tablespoons (or more if needed)
- 3/4 cup softened butter
- Salt 1/3 teaspoon
- Chilli powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
- Beer with a mild taste, 12 ounces
Grease a 9x13 baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking oil and preheat the oven to 350°F.
Melt the butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. When the butter has dissolved, add the flour and stir until well combined.
Continue whisking after adding the salt and chili powder until everything is combined and the mixture slightly swells. (About 1 minute).
Stir continuously as you gradually pour in the lager, making sure there are no lumps. Stir constantly until cheese is melted and combined after lowering the heat and adding cheese cream and shredded cheddar cheese. (About 3 minutes).
Place the mixture in the baking dish that has been prepped and bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
