- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags or 2 tablespoons of loose black tea in a tea infuser
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan. Place the black tea bags or loose black tea into a tea infuser, then steep it for 3-5 minutes, or until you achieve the desired strength of the tea. Remove the tea bags or infuser and let the tea cool to room temperature.
In a blender, combine the chopped mango, sliced strawberries, and honey. Blend until you get a smooth puree.
Strain the mango-strawberry puree into the pitcher or glass jar to remove any seeds or pulp.
Pour the cooled black tea into the pitcher with the fruit puree and stir well to combine. Take a taste and, if necessary, adjust the sweetness by adding more honey.
