Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice, cooked and seasoned
  • 1 lb fresh salmon, skinless and boneless, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, soy sauce, and sriracha. Mix until smooth and well incorporated.
  • Gently fold in the cooked sushi rice, diced cucumber, and chopped green onions into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Spread half of this mixture evenly in a baking dish.
  • Layer the bite-sized salmon cubes on top of the rice mixture.
  • Spread the remaining rice mixture over the salmon, ensuring even coverage.
  • Sprinkle black sesame seeds over the top for added texture and visual appeal.
  • Place aluminum foil over the baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes, take off the foil and continue baking for an extra 10 minutes, or until the top turns a delicate golden hue.
  • Once baked, let the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.
