Start by preheating your non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium heat.
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic powder, dried oregano, and dried basil. Mix well until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Take two slices of bread and spread the seasoned butter on one side of each slice.
Place the buttered side of each bread slice down on the pan or griddle.
Layer two slices of cheese on top of each bread slice.
Cover the pan with a lid and let the sandwich cook for about 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom slice of bread turns golden brown and the cheese begins to melt.
Gently turn over the sandwich using a spatula or tongs.
Cook the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
Remove the grilled cheese from the pan and let it cool for a minute.
Repeat the process with the remaining two slices of bread and cheese.
Slice each grilled cheese diagonally, creating two triangles.
