Ingredients

  • Red wine, dry, 3/4 cup
  • Three cups of beef stock
  • 2 Tablespoons of Bread Flour (gluten-free)
  • Butter or beef drippings, 6 tablespoons
  • 1 1/2 shallots (finely chopped)
  • One and a half tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tbsp. beef broth 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Three fresh thyme stems
  • One-half teaspoon of Dijon Mustard
  • Approximately 3 teaspoons of dried porcini mushrooms ground (Combine in a blender, pepper grinder, or coffee grinder)

Instructions

  • The butter or drippings should be heated in a big pan. For about three to four minutes, cook the garlic and onion. One minute later, add the flour and stir.
  • Red wine should be added to the concoction. Regularly whisk to avoid clots. For about two minutes, simmer the combination.
  • Pour in the meat broth. Simmer for an additional two to three minutes until slightly thickened.
  • The remaining components should be added to a mixing bowl and thoroughly combined.
  • Once more, bring the liquid to a boil. For 15 minutes, simmer the food in the saucepan with the lid on. The procedure is finished once the liquid begins to reduce.
  • To flavor, add salt and pepper. Strain the liquid by pouring it into a strainer. It is best to serve it right away or keep it chilled. Enjoy!
